Tapas tour

Another first for LRF in 2011, which saw us bring the spirit of Spain to London on this tour of the city's finest tapas restaurants. The experience allowed people to flit from one lively location to the next having a tapa and a glass of Rioja in each using our carefully devised Tapas Passport. The tours were in partnership with Wines from Rioja, LRF's Official Wine Partner.

Venues: Participants included some of London's finest and specialist tapas bars: Fernandez & Wells, Brindisa Soho, Iberica, PIX and Copita

Festival menus

In partnership with Livebookings, London Restaurant Festival Menus are the capital's most inspiring restaurant promotion and a fundamental part of making the event universally accessible. The Menus are specially created by the hundreds of participating restaurants and are available to customers throughout the Festival period.

Side orders

A fundamental part of the London Restaurant Festival are the 'fringe' events which we call Side Orders. While LRF creates and operates the larger scale events as outlined opposite we really encourage all those working in the capital's restaurant scene to get creative and devise their own events to run throughout the festival. In 2010 we had over a dozen of these Side Order events going on including the Savoy Truffle Club, Bistroteque pop-up, a Cloudy Bay wine and food matching dinner and Street Kitchen, the mobile restaurant in an airstream. All were a sell-out and garnered plenty of publicity. No matter how small or how off-the-wall, we are interested in hearing your ideas and including them in the line up for LRF 2011.
