BritDish: American Express event

Tradition with a twist … Created for, and exclusively available to, American Express Cardmembers, London Restaurant Festival 2011 saw five renowned international chefs reinterpret some of Britain’s most well-known dishes. Think an Indian take on Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding or a molecular gastronomic approach to Sticky Toffee Pudding. Their inspired creations challenged the belief that a classic dish cannot be improved. Angela Hartnett, Vivek Singh, Nuno Mendes, Bruno Loubet, above, The River Room …  completely turned the notion of Sunday lunch on its head.
